Madfa Sacco (Masindi District Farmers Association) is a savings and credit cooperative that wants to expand its agricultural credits to small-scale farmers and groups of farmers. Madfa is an initiative of the local farmers’ association and is led by a team of professionals. The organisation has over 18,000 members. Group credits are an important channel for reaching the poorer farming population. A significant social and educational aspect is also involved.

What does BRS do?

The cooperation between Madfa and BRS took shape in 2017. Together with Trias, we are working on improving credit processes and cooperative management.
